Automatic Transfer Switch ATS is a type of transfer panel used with a diesel
generator to automatically switch between the mains and generator in the event
of a power failure. To ensure continuity of service for critical applications,
LV electrical installations need to be connected to at least two independent
power sources. The generator will start / stop automatically or manually
depending on the incoming supply based on control of relay and timer or
microprocessor, that shall be operated by BMS/SCADA.
